8th-Grade Chromebook Collection

8th grade Chromebooks and chargers will be collected during HMS on JUNE 14. 

In preparation: 

1. Ensure your first and last name is clearly visible on the front of the Chromebook. 

2. Ensure your first and last name is clearly visible on the charger. 

3. Remove any stickers you added to the Chromebook.   

4. Clean your Chromebook

   • SCREEN: Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth. If any marks remain, lightly moisten a soft cleaning cloth with a solution of water and mild liquid dishwashing detergent and gently wipe the LCD screen. Be sure the LCD screen is dry before closing or using the Chromebook.    

     • You may also use an electronic wipe, such as Windex Electronic Wipes on the screen.   

     • DO NOT use a Lysol wipe on the screen. 

   • BODY: Use a Lysol wipe to clean any plastic parts of the Chromebook – the keyboard, the outside, etc.   

Fees will be assessed for any lost or damaged Chromebooks and chargers. 

Replacement chargers are $40 at RMS.  If you plan on purchasing a charger on your own, it should be a 65 watt USB-C Chromebook charger.
